I recently heard about MilkMakers, a line of cookies that was developed by a mom Seattle. And yesterday I got to try them! A little side note: I'm still nursing my 13 month old (for better or worse, the kid despises sippy cups), so breastfeeding is part of my life--24-7. (TMI? Sorry!)

So, any woman who's ever nursed a baby knows that her milk supply can ebb and flow, and it can be scary to realize that you may not be producing enough milk (been there, done that). There are lots of natural remedies and supplements doctors will tell you about, but MilkMakers founder Emily Kane had a better idea: make cookies!

The cookies are made with all-natural ingredients, along with brewer's yeast, oats and flax seeds--ingredients believed to increase milk production. Of course, there's been no scientific studies done on these cookies (hey, that's a research trial I'd want to sign up for--you?!), but the bloggers over at LilSugar say the cookies got their milk flowing. Oh, did I mention how good they are? I'm smitten. You can order them here--they're shipped to your door frozen and then you pull them out of the freezer to thaw and enjoy whenever. They're surprisingly moist--and addicting!
